Harald Bier

Harald Bier has been working with biochar for over 10 years, first on horticultural and agricultural projects, then on disaster risk management (erosion control, resilience, productive systems), and more and more on climate change mitigation.
Since the creation of the Biochar Europe, he is Secretary-General of the organisation, working on Policy, the range of biochar applications, biochar carbon removals etc.
Biochar Europe is the European Biochar Association. The association translates science into actionable strategies for stakeholders and businesses, driving policy and regulation making.
