Senior Development and Porfolio Manager, Renewable Gases , Gasum

Henning Singelsö is working as a senior development and portfolio manager related to renewable gases at Gasum, a Finnish state-owned company. Henning joined Gasum in 2019 and has since been working with renewable gases in the whole value chain, from production to retail. During these years Gasum has leaned more and more towards renewable gases as one of the main strategy pillars for the company. This has given Henning the opportunity to gain a lot of knowledge about opportunities and challenges that arise in the renewable gas market. Gasum has set the target to manage 7 TWh of renewable gases by 2027 which has led to that Henning lately has been focusing on improving renewable gas business within Gasum, enabling to depart from fossil gas market. As development manager, Henning has started to conduct case studies and benchmark the renewable gas market to find ways to standardise the business, covering areas as tax, excise duty, export, import and other regulatory challenges.
